Harmless Packaging is about working to reduce the world of harmful waste. It is about harnessing our natural resources for a sustainable future. It's about environmentally friendly packaging.
The Harmless Packaging range seeks to replace plastic packaging with compostable, like-for-like equivalents which perform up to, if not better, than existing packaging whilst respecting the environment. Products that wear the coveted Seedling Logo having met the stringent European Compostability Standard (EN13432) are part of the Harmless Packaging Range.
The Harmless Packaging Range utilises starch based resources to produce Harmless-Compost, Wrap and Air. Harmless-Compost is a line of bags and envelopes with incredible strength and finish, can be printed full colour process and will completely biodegrade into naturally occurring substances. They are used in packaging magazines and publications, bin and poo bags and carrier bags. Utilising the same technology; Harmless-Wrap and Air are an operational, protective packaging solution with outstanding performance and can be disposed of in industrial composting sites to help reduce the mountain of plastic clogging up the globe. From protecting wine to micro-chips, soft toys to books; Harmless-Wrap and Air have a multitude of uses.
Harmless-Bubble Envelope is a fully compostable ‘Jiffy Bag’ and an industry first. Combining compostable, recycled paper with Harmless-Wrap technology, the Harmless-Bubble Envelope has its utility in so much of everyday packaging; particularly with the massive growth in ebay and Amazon sales.
Harmless-Dissolve uses a hydro-degradable plastic to produce a stronger and lighter plastic bag which completely dissolves in water leaving no damaging residue. This fantastic product can replace poly-wrap on magazines, cotton laundry bags in hospitals and, with natural anti-static qualities has broad utility in the electronics industry.
This is the future of packaging; here today, gone tomorrow leaving no discernable trace – Harmless.
